I was at school with Malc and we shared a great liking for Led Zeppelin. We kept in contact at various times throughout the years.I was very shocked to see of his passing.We had some fun times along with various members of our class.
ReplyDeleteHe was a well respected person. He never did loose his passion for Led Zep. The only time he saw them was the Kenbworth gig, August 11th 1979 when four of us went down to Knebworth and slept overnight in a mini in order to make sure we got a decent place in the crowd. Malc was the only one who managed to get any sleep that night, stretched out in that car! There's loads of memories from over the many years which I really need to write up
DeleteI've just seen this. I knew Malcolm as children and then as older teens we would bump into each other at rock gigs all around the country. Then when we moved to Kettering i'd see Malcolm as he worked at our council offices. He was always such a lovely man.
